Steroc is one of the brands we craft under contract in our Cape distillery: a premium South African brandy from carefully selected Colombard grapes off exemplary Western Cape vineyards, distilled in the pot- and column-still tradition in Somerset West.
It is more than a brandy. The name Steroc revives an old family name from the western part of Africa, reborn in a grand premium style. Every mark on the label carries meaning: the globe on the warrior's shoulder maps Africa, a Home for All; the warrior who bears it stands for the quiet responsibility every adult carries; the sword for the fight to become stronger and wiser; and the cross for love, gratitude and remembrance of those we have lost.
Steroc Gold V.S
Twice distilled in pot and column still and matured in hand-crafted French oak by the refined Classique method, then brought to 43% vol with reverse-osmosis-purified water.
A classic, smooth pour made for the tulip glass, swirl, breathe and savour from the very first pour.
Steroc Black Superior V.S.O.P, The Black Oak
A five-year Very Superior Old Pale, triple distilled and aged in Black Oak (Quercus velutina) barrels, blended in the Sagnac style.
Pear and caramel over an earthy, smooth, gently smoky and oaky character. Black is Gold, Black is Bold.
Steroc is produced and bottled in Cape Town, South Africa. 43% / 40% vol. Not for sale to persons under the legal drinking age. Enjoy responsibly.
